Nordlith helps Geelong businesses put AI to work on emails, routine administration and follow-ups—connected to the tools you already use, with your team in control.
The dashboard looks right. The totals still disagree.
An operations report uses completion date while finance uses invoice date. A reopened job appears twice in an export. If the team cannot reconcile those differences, an AI explanation can make uncertainty harder to see. The first buying decision is whether the problem is data definition, data movement or genuinely difficult interpretation—not which model produces the best-looking chart.
Three different investments, three different prerequisites
Illustrative workflow: explain a variance without changing the accounts
- Take an approved operational export and its reporting period.
- Calculate agreed totals deterministically, separating missing keys and reopened records.
- Prepare a narrative that cites the contributing records and clearly distinguishes observed changes from possible explanations.
- Let the report owner verify the explanation; keep the underlying financial and operational records unchanged.
Test a late record, a zero baseline and a changed metric definition. If the evidence cannot explain a variance, the output should say so. A fluent explanation is not a reconciliation.
A discovery pack for a data-led decision
- Two redacted reports that should reconcile, with their period definitions.
- The source record, stable keys and rules for revisions or cancellations.
- The decision the report supports and the consequence of a wrong answer.
- Known gaps in history, completeness or data permission.
- The current manual baseline and examples the report owner will accept or reject.
Keep the first enquiry general. Do not send passwords, tokens or confidential customer records.
Bring the report owner and the system owner together
Remote discovery and demonstrations are available for Geelong organisations. A reporting brief needs both the person interpreting the figures and the person who understands how they are exported. Keep production credentials out of the initial enquiry. Data access, review responsibilities and support are scoped before a connected build.
Before you decide.
Do we need machine learning for this?
Not necessarily. A reconciled calculation and a better data transfer may answer the question. Forecasting is a separate decision with different evidence needs.
Can you promise a particular reporting connector?
No connection is assumed. The actual platform, edition, access method and permissions determine what is feasible.
What would a pilot prove?
That the chosen report reconciles, exceptions remain visible and any AI explanation is grounded in the source. It would not prove that every future prediction is reliable.
Continue from the decision.
